Unless a Seed Falls

“Unless a seed falls to the ground, it will not produce much fruit”
~John 12:24

Brothers and sisters, many things have been “dying” in people’s lives. The dying can/has touched many aspects in life (jobs, housing, relationships, family & friends, tasks, seasons). Much has/will come to an end and many are left wondering “what’s next?” I heard the Lord say that “Unless a seed falls to the ground, it will not produce much fruit” (John 12:24). Much fruit is produced from death.

This doesn’t mean that the dying was God’s perfect plan or that He caused it, but He will use it to create new growth, strength, multiplication and direction in your life and for your good. He will also use what is birthed and brought forth for the benefit of others around you. He will use your testimony to bless and strengthen many.

Do not look at the “dying” as something you caused or that is your fault. Do not allow blame to enter your heart. Trust Him in these moments. Regardless of the cause of “death”, know that He is moving you forward to good things, new things, new direction and new life. Know that He is a good, good Father. Because you love Him and He you, He will always, ultimately bring good to you in-spite of what circumstances look like. (Rom 8:28) Rest in Him and be still. He will show you what is next. (Matt 11:28, Ps 46:10).
